Sri Lanka Cultural Heritage Exhibition Set for fall in Tokyo

The Sri Lanka Cultural Heritage Exhibition will be held at the Tokyo National Museum from 17th September to 30th November 2008. The Governments of Japan and Sri Lanka have accorded their highest priority to holding this cultural event.
The Exhibition is co-organized by the Sri Lanka Government and the ‘Yomiuri Shimbun’ with the support of the Tokyo National Museum.
A large number of Sri Lankan artifacts will be brought into Japan for this exhibition. This is the first time ever in the history of Japan-Sri Lanka relations that an exhibition of this magnitude is to be held in Japan.
The Sri Lanka Embassy invites the Japanese Public to visit the Exhibition and see the diverse and deep-rooted cultural heritage of Sri Lanka under one roof at The Tokyo National Museum.
