SLBCJ Visits USS Tokyo [12 February, 2011]
A delegation of representatives lead by the President of SLBCJ and the Sri Lankan ambassador in Japan – Mr. Esala Weerakoon, visited USS Tokyo to explore the novel business services offered by USS Co Ltd to assist Sri Lankan vehicle exporters. The new business venture provides the services of auctioning, land transport, inspection, customs clearance, warehousing, and shipping arrangements as a single package to the clients. SLBCJ is in support of this new value addition to the already existing services by USS Co Ltd as it would greatly benefit the Sri Lankan businesses in automobile trade and it would increase the efficiency of the trading as well. The visit included some on site examination of the services and round table discussions about how this service can be better utilized to the benefit of Sri Lankan clientele.
