SLBCJ Stall at the Sri Lankan Festival [13 September, 2008]
The Sri Lankan community living all around Japan, which included Special guests, and dancing troupes, arrived from Sri Lanka gathered to Yoyogi Park in Shinjuku, Tokyo on 13th and 14th September 2008 for their Annual Sri Lankan Festival celebrations. SLBCJ President Mr. Jagath Ramanayake was invited for the opening ceremony.
Lot of stalls with various items like food Products, jewellery, spices, and other Sri Lankan related items, were on sale and with large crowd gathering at the park during the two days.
The SLBCJ too was present at this Event with the most decorative and highly luxuriously made stall, which was arguably to be the Best stall ever had in a Sri Lanka Festival since inception. New members were also welcomed to join to SLBCJ on this day.
