SLBCJ International Director Mr. Sajeev Rajaputhra had a meeting regarding the establishment of an International Federation of Business Councils

SLBCJ International Director Sajeev Rajaputhra visited the Sri Lankan Business Council in Dubai & Northern Emirates today to hold a follow-up meeting regarding the establishment of an International Federation of Business Councils connecting all Sri Lankan business councils globally to create a united network for interrelations, bilateral correlation and an amalgamated effort to promote Sri Lanka globally, raise awareness and encourage investments. This effort has been initiated by the SLBCJ as a special project in celebration of its 20th anniversary, which will be held as an exclusive event on October 9th, 2023 in Tokyo. The meeting was both successful and productive, with both councils agreeing on many key areas, especially the importance of unification on a world-wide scale and the tremendous benefits of holding annual networking and inter-relational events in a different country each year for all aforementioned objectives. The SLBCJ views this as a tremendous first step in establishing the synergistic global network by October.
Mr. Rajaputhra also took the opportunity to pay homage to the newly established Dubai Maha Viharaya and Venereble Thero Nagoda Saddaloka himi.
