SLBCJ Fund Raising Project

In order to raise funds for the SLBCJ, lottery tickets will be sold at the Sri Lankan Festival. A Brand New SUZUKI SWIFT Car (value of 1.3 million yen) will be presented for the lucky winner.

A ticket only costs 5,000 yen and only limited number of tickets will be sold. The SUZUKI SWIFT car will be exhibited at the event hall on Festival days.

The connection between Sri Lanka and Japan has been grown after the diplomatic relation established in 1952, and since then excellent relationship continues up-to-date. Sri Lanka Festival sponsored by Sri Lanka embassy will be held for this year in Yoyogi-Park on the 13th and 14 of September 2008.

This function is held with the Support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan, in order for everybody to participate and gain a better understanding about Sri Lanka. On this day, there is Sri Lankan Traditional Dance, Music, and other entertainments are scheduled to perform on the stage. Further to that, more than 100 souvenir shops and the food stalls are displayed. The assembly area comprises of the event plaza and open-air stage. (Please see the below map)

The Festival entrance is free. (Admission fees for Yoyogi-koen is separate)
