SLBCJ Annual General Meeting 2013

The 10th Annual General Meeting of the SLBCJ was held at 1.30pm on 15th December 2013 at the Conference Room of the Sri Lanka Embassy. The meeting was well attended with the participation of Mr.M.Somasena, Counsellor (Commercial) and Mrs.Chitra Algama (PA), as well as many members of the SLBCJ.

The following officials were elected to serve for the year 2014;

Kanagawa: Mr. Jagath Ramanayake
Tokyo: Mr. Udaya Atukorala
Chiba: Mr. Lasantha Nandasiri
Kansai: Mr. Prince Samuel
Shizuoka: Mr. Priyantha Salpitikorala
Saitama: Mr. Chandika Perera
Tochigi: Mr. Thilak Perera
Nagoya: Mr. Nishantha Meegalla
Shikoku: Mr. Velu Karunamoorthy
Kyushu: Mr. Kenichi Watanabe
Ibaragi: Mr. Mohamed Nazeer
Nagano: Mr. Buddhika Silva

At the meeting many suggestions were received, to be taken up and discussed at the first Executive Committee Meeting scheduled to be held in January 2014.

After the meeting, the first Sri Lanka Year End Party was held that evening in Tokyo, attended by HE Ambassador and Madam Wasantha Karannagoda, members of the Embassy, and members of all the Sri Lanka Associations registered with the Embassy.
