Dear All,

I am pleased to share some great news with our SLBCJ members! After a long period of persistent efforts, we have finally found an opening to restart vehicle imports to Sri Lanka. This achievement is the result of numerous meetings, TV programs, and press conferences that we undertook to address this critical issue.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sajeev San for taking the initiative to bring all associations together. His leadership and collaborative efforts were instrumental in this process. Today, we had the final meeting at the Parliament of Sri Lanka with the relevant ministers and officials, and we have successfully managed to secure the new gazette that reopens the market for vehicle imports.

Thank you, everyone, for trusting us and granting us the responsibility to handle this case. This milestone is a testament to what we can achieve together, and I look forward to continued success for our industry.
